This item is part of a "Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters Collection, 1934-1965".; A portion of "Pullman City", the mushroom "town" comprising some 500 Pullman sleeping cars which served as "home" to several thousand visitors during the inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, January 1953. The "city" embraced tracks in several yards in and around Washington.
